What this service can include

Specify the gypsum-panel finish you want under the room’s light. USG describes Level 5 as a thin skim coat over the entire surface after the Level 4 treatment, followed by the selected primer and decoration. Discuss the applicable finish specification and paint sheen together. Level 5 is not a guarantee of perfect appearance in every light.

Choose a finish in everyday light

One wall, a full room and connected spaces each have a different finishing edge. Discuss coating adhesion and the paint sheen you will use, then agree where the new finish stops.

Before surface work begins

Have suspect wall or ceiling materials assessed before scraping, sanding or removal. EPA guidance explains that appearance alone cannot identify asbestos.
